These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of SilentSignal (the "Service"), operated by Isaac Ervin Armstead ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
SilentSignal is a passive wellness companion that analyses behavioural signals (such as sleep, movement, and rhythm metadata) to surface gentle insights about your wellbeing. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical, psychological, or clinical advice. Always consult a qualified professional for health concerns.
You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account, and you agree to provide accurate information and keep it updated.
You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you must not:
Isaac Ervin Armstead retains all right, title, and interest in and to the Service, including its software, designs, documentation, and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within your selected plan.
You grant us a limited licence to host and process your data solely to provide the Service. You can export or delete your data at any time from the app's privacy settings.
We work hard to keep the Service running smoothly, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time through the in-app "Manage subscription" link.

We may suspend or terminate your access for: material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. On termination, you may export your data for a reasonable period, after which it will be deleted in line with our Privacy Notice.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is capped at the total fees you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to liability. We exclude liability for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where it cannot lawfully be excluded.
You will indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Isaac Ervin Armstead resides, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The courts of that jurisdiction will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
